Event Information
This free community event helps students, families, and educators prepare for a successful school year with free school supplies, educator resources, interactive learning activities, family resource vendors, music, giveaways, and fun for all ages. Students and public school educators (with valid ID) receive backpacks and supplies while they last — arrive early, supplies are first-come, first-served.
Because the organization serves youth ages 5–18, this is a great opportunity not only for Cub Scout recruitment, but also to connect with older youth who may be interested in Scouts BSA, Venturing, or Exploring.
The district has been provided with:
• A booth space to engage families and promote Scouting
• A 5-minute on-stage presentation to share the impact of Scouting
• Access to families from across Cobb County and surrounding communities
