Allatoona Resource Center Community Garden
The Allatoona Center Community Garden is located behind the Allatoona Resource Center at 6503 Glade Road, Acworth, Georgia 30102. This is a volunteer run Community Garden with the objective of supplementing the local food pantry, providing free gardening classes, teaching people how to grow their own food, and bringing the residents of South Bartow County together as a community. The garden consists of 24 raised beds. We use square foot gardening with the Back to Eden gardening method & pesticide free! Volunteers are needed every 3rd Saturday from 9-11am for weeding and maintenance. Volunteers are also needed Tuesday's 7:30-9am and Friday's 5:30pm-7pm beginning in mid March. If you would like to volunteer with a school, church or family group please call 678-859-3455 to arrange a time.

Tips for your Visit:
Dress for the weather and expect to spend time outdoors. Follow all safety guidelines. Listen for instructions on tool use, recycling, and litter disposal. Bring the whole family when appropriate, but check the minimum age requirements before registering. Be prepared to get a little dirty—it's all part of making a difference! Take a group photo afterward to celebrate your service and inspire others to volunteer.
