City of Austell Museum
Located inside the Threadmill Complex suite, the City of Austell Museum serves as the primary repository for the community's rich industrial, medical, and agricultural history. Inside, scouts can examine deep archival collections mapping out Austell's origins as a premier therapeutic mineral spring destination, along with early regional school records, historical photographs, and local railroad artifacts.

The museum operates primarily on weekdays, but weekend group openings can be requested by appointment through the Austell Community Affairs office. It is an incredible space to visit if your unit is already stopping by the Sweetwater Valley Library inside the same building.
