Discovery Park at the River Line
Discovery Park at the River Line is one of Cobb County's newest and most distinctive parks. Located along the Chattahoochee River, it preserves a portion of the historic Johnston's River Line, a series of Civil War earthworks built in 1864 during the Atlanta Campaign. Today, visitors can walk wooded trails, view preserved fortifications, enjoy riverfront scenery, and explore interpretive exhibits that connect the area's natural and historical significance. The park also links to the growing Chattahoochee RiverLands Greenway.
