Smyrna Recycling Center
Operated by the City of Smyrna and supported by Keep Smyrna Beautiful, the Smyrna Recycling Center is much more than a community drop-off site. The facility promotes environmental stewardship through education, outreach, and one of the area's most unique learning opportunities—free monthly public tours that explain what happens to recyclable materials after they are collected.
Visitors learn how materials are sorted, processed, and prepared for recycling while gaining practical tips for reducing contamination and improving recycling habits at home.

Tips for your Visit:
The Recycling Center offers free public tours on the third Friday of each month from 9:00–10:00 a.m. (excluding January and February). Advance registration is required through the City of Smyrna.
Even if you're not attending a tour, the center accepts a wide variety of recyclable materials from both residents and non-residents, making it an excellent resource for environmentally conscious families.
